Lucy's Birthday Party

This year for Lucy's birthday she wanted a party at home. We had my talented friend Katrina, who is a professional make-up artist (we are talking commercials and even LA Fashion week!) come and makeover the girls. Then we had a tea party. It was such a blast. Lucy was in serious heaven! Get ready for a ton of pictures.

Food all made by me. Mini vanilla cupcakes with homemade strawberry frosting. Brown butter crinkle cookies. Nutella sandwiches. Lemonade. Freshly popped popcorn. And strawberries. Yum.
I got these tiny cups and saucers and a really cute online tea store. They were also the party favors. I filled them with candy and wrapped them up.

It really was so much fun, but I am glad it is over! Birthdays at home are so much work!!

These kids love to be together!

Lott Family Reunion

A few weeks ago we met up in Irvine park for a weekend for the Lott family reunion. That is my Grandma Rasmussen and her 2 sisters and their families.

Fun was had by all!

Naomi, Lucy and Grant watching the zip-line.
Jolie was soooo brave.
She even did it 2 more times!
Check out her shoes. She didn't have any closed toe shoes so she borrowed these heels from another little girl. Too bad one totally ended up in the ravine  :( But Uncle Evan was a hero and hiked down to retrieve it!
I did it once. I wasn't a fan. Jolie was braver than I was!

They also had an amazing pool with an awesome water slide.

Jolie had the time of her life!
The whole Rasmussen side of the fam.
Thanks Grandma and Dad for planning all the fun!

Swimming

We swam more than anything else on our trip. Jolie wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks for the fun Mike and Brooke! We were seriously spoiled rotten with trips to the pool Pirate's Cove (the water park), the Littleton Historical Museum, date nights and lunches, good food, and tons of people we love!

Some Random Shots from the Trip

We were so thrilled to have all of the great-grandparents here this year! For some reason the only shot I got of any of them was this one of GG and Lucy. Luckily our resident photographer Angella was there to get more. I can't wait to see what she got!
Miles was telling me all about this long bus he drew.
Reese saying "cheese"
Love this man. Can I tell you how thrilled we all were to have him with us for 8 days straight!!
