Eight years ago today I made the best decision of my life. I married the BEST man for me! I am the luckiest girl I know, I get to spend everyday with my best friend. We get to laugh, goof off, cuddle, adore, and just LOVE each other. Forever. I love my life. And I love Landon.
Happy Anniversary Babes!

Rainy Day
Saturday it rained all day. But that doesn't stop our children from getting antsy and from wanting to go outside. So Landon, being the fun parent, let the kids play outside to their hearts content. Lucky kids. Mom would never go for this.

Enchanted
Jolie is in an after school program for musical theater. This term they did scenes from the movie Enchanted. She was an "enchanted creature." Or kitty. It was very cute. Here are some pictured from the event!
Jolie and the other enchanted creatures.
Dancing
Singing
We can't wait for Mary Poppins next term!

3 Items of Business
Item 1:
We are in love with our tree around here. We agree it is our biggest and best yet!

Item 2:
Read the line at the bottom of the page. If there was ever any doubt, now we know for sure: Jolie hates homework. (I think I will have her erase it, I don't think Mrs. Huff would get the joke.)
Item 3:
Could these silly boys look any more alike? I think not.

I guess we do look a little bit alike.
*I stole this picture from Chrissy's blog from our Thanksgiving celebration. Good times.

What A Day
First my car won't start, Jolie left all the lights on in the car last night. Then I couldn't find my phone for hours, when I desperately needed it. Then at the dentist we learned Lucy has her first cavity. And Reese only had one nap today.
I am ready for bed.

Oink Oink
Thanks for the birthday greeting folks! My weekend was pretty fun, Landon and I went to a fun play in west Hollywood that was really cool. The actual birthday was a bit of a bummer seeing as this lovely lady (below) has the swine flu. It really is a nasty bug so lets just all hope the rest of us don't catch it! Thankfully she seems to be on the mend today so by Thursday she should be back to shool.
This picture I had to add of my Lucy and her best buddy Xavier. Lucy is in love with this boy. In fact, she only seems to like boys these days. All of her friends at school are the boys. Every day she comes home and tells me which boys she sat by at lunch and which ones said what to her. I think Landon is secretly worried about her fascination with the opposite sex ;)
I hope you are all getting those H1N1 vaccines! If only I had been a few days sooner we could have been spared. Oh well!

Happy Birthday Katie!
Hey Katie - I totally just hacked your password! Haha!
Anyhoo, while you're all reeling at my amazing technical savvy, I thought I would take this moment to let you all know that today marks the anniversary of my beloved wife Katie's birth.
While you all most likely consider yourselves a wonderful wife, mother or human being, I'm sorry to let you know that Katie has you beat in all three of these categories HANDS DOWN. Not only does she put up with my cantankerous personality and exhausting hi-jinks with grace and aplomb, she's also managed to raise three of the cutest, funniest and most talented children I've ever encountered (spoiler: I'm referring to my own children).
But it's not all just tolerating me and our children, Katie is the most fun person I know. Who else would accompany me to hipster concerts and low-budget horror/comedy theatrical productions? Only the cutest/funniest person I've ever met in my entire life (spoiler: I'm referring to Katie).
So let's all raise a virtual glass in honor of Katie on her birthday. I love you babe!
-Landon

This is why I haven't been much into blogging lately. Read my friend Laurel's blog where she states my thoughts exactly!

Halloween
Just so you know, I had no say in any of my children's Halloween costumes this year. The girls had their own ideas of what they wanted. Landon chose Reese's costume. Enjoy the pictures from our ward trunk or treat.
Jolie the mermaid, Ariel.

None other than Lucy as Darth Vadar. She wanted to be the scariest thing she could think of so she wouldn't be scared of anything else.

The father and son Zombie duo. I promised Landon if we ever had a son he could make him something scary. He never liked the adorable chicken and lamb costumes my baby girls wore. His dream finally came true. Aren't they spooky?

Pumkins
It's that time of year. Only it doesn't feel like it here. We went to Pa's Pumpkin Patch in Long Beach today and it was at least 90 degrees! I was dying.
Pony Rides were had.
Xavier
Deacon
Lucy girl
The Boys
The goats and sheep were not a bit shy.
Lucy was a bit scared.
Baby goat
Farm girl (not even)
Reese's shenanigans.

The friends.
What we did when we got home.
For the one millionth time Jolie told me it was the best day ever. She lives a charmed life :)
