This is why I haven't been much into blogging lately. Read my friend Laurel's blog where she states my thoughts exactly!

Halloween
Just so you know, I had no say in any of my children's Halloween costumes this year. The girls had their own ideas of what they wanted. Landon chose Reese's costume. Enjoy the pictures from our ward trunk or treat.
Jolie the mermaid, Ariel.

None other than Lucy as Darth Vadar. She wanted to be the scariest thing she could think of so she wouldn't be scared of anything else.

The father and son Zombie duo. I promised Landon if we ever had a son he could make him something scary. He never liked the adorable chicken and lamb costumes my baby girls wore. His dream finally came true. Aren't they spooky?

Pumkins
It's that time of year. Only it doesn't feel like it here. We went to Pa's Pumpkin Patch in Long Beach today and it was at least 90 degrees! I was dying.
Pony Rides were had.
Xavier
Deacon
Lucy girl
The Boys
The goats and sheep were not a bit shy.
Lucy was a bit scared.
Baby goat
Farm girl (not even)
Reese's shenanigans.

The friends.
What we did when we got home.
For the one millionth time Jolie told me it was the best day ever. She lives a charmed life :)

Toddling Time
Someone is walking. All the time now. It has been a little hard on me. I am not ready for him to leave babyhood. At least he isn't crawling around getting his pants and hands all dirty at the park anymore. I was so done with that.
Here are some pictures of the proud buddy.

And one of him being in love with my parent's dog Thunder.
I am pretty much obsessed with this kid.

The Fall Blues
I have been a lazy blogger. I guess it's because I really have been in sort of a funk for that last month or so. I wasn't sure why until Landon reminded me that I get this way almost every year. It is because of fall. It turns out I really don't like fall. I love summer. It depresses me every year when it leaves. It doesn't help that we live in a total summer town. Things just feel happy here in the summer months. Everyone dons their flip-flops and ride around the strand on their beach cruisers. Everyone looks tanned and healthy. I just love everything about it.
It is odd because most people are posting how much they love the fall and it's bounties. I just can't agree. Aren't you going to miss the barbecues and the watermelon? The swim suits and the popsicles? The days being longer and the elastic waist skirts? Hmmm. I am already dreaming of next year.
At least I'll have Christmas to ease the pain.
