17 Months

What is up with this guy you ask?

-emptying the q-tips from my bathroom cupboard
-eating absolutely NOTHING but fruit and milk
-obsessing over his daddy
-emptying/playing his stack of wooden puzzles
-running the opposite direction of his mother in public
-playing with anything with buttons on it
-emptying his bookshelf
-running into the street whenever he sees an opening
-snuggling with mom when baby einstein is on
-hiding rolls of toilet paper throughout our house
-emptying his box of blocks (and occasionally trying to stack them)
-not talking, at all (frustrating! my girls talked soooo early)
-getting dirty whenever he gets the chance
-going down the slide over and over at any park
-emptying his pants drawer
-chasing his sisters
-watching yo gaba gaba endlessly
-emptying our entertainment center
-reading touch and feel books, and song books with his mommy
-unrolling rolls of toilet paper
-demanding to read his fluffy bunnies book (I know!)
-just generally causing some sort of mischief or another

-STEALING MY HEART everyday. love him.

For the Grandparents

I know I have been a shamefully terrible blogger lately. It can just get overwhelming sometimes so I have chosen to ignore my blog instead of let it bother me.

We have been very busy with school, friends, Disneyand (we have passes now!), and most recently, my mom's birthday. Here are a million pictures from that fun day. Enjoy!

Help Friends!

Jolie is sick to death of sandwiches in her lunch. I occasionally switch it up and give her lunch meat, cheese and crackers so she can make little sandwiches. It is so boring and she won't stop complaining about it. Anyone have any great ideas?

Thanks,

-Katie

P.S. She doesn't like peanut butter or cream cheese.

Christmas Vacation

We had a fabulous Christmas this year. (Other than my bout with the stomach flu on Christmas Eve that is.) It was so packed full of parties as usual. Here are the few pictures I have, most of them stolen from my fam. Enjoy! (Also, they are in the wrong order but who wants to go back and rearrange them on this annoying thing called blogger?)

Grandma Inkley's Christmas party. Fun as ever. Reese and Grant sure had fun playing with their packages!

Christmas day at my parent's house. Cute cousins.

Christmas Eve and Grandma and Grandpa Rasmussen's. I was too sick and had to stay home :(
Jolie + Santa

Lucy + Santa

Lucy loves her Daddy

It was Jolie's turn to be Mary this year!

The Sunday before Christmas, modeling their Christmas outfits. Lucy wasn't into it at all.

We also spent some really great quality time just us last week. We went to the Aquarium, numerous parks, and enjoyed all our new things. Santa was very generous this year. The highlight for me was a little getaway Landon and I had to Playa del Rey where we stayed at a lovely bed and breakfast and had some fun alone time. Heavenly. Thanks Danny and Camille for babysitting for us!

We were so blessed this year. I am overwhelmed by all that I have and am constantly aware of where these blessings come from. It is so amazing to watch my children learn of the Savior and actually begin to understand Christmas and it's true meaning.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2010 is one to remember!
