Words of Wisdom

Today in Jolie's backpack I found a paper that they worked on in class. She had to finish some well-known sayings. Here are my favorites.

There's no use crying over: cake   (unless your on a diet)

Beggars can't be: nice   (that's strange the beggar we gave $2 to the other day was pretty nice...)

Look before you: go over the fence   (To see if Riley is out playing!)

If it's not broken, don't: break it   (true true)

Better be safe than: eating cake   (I guess?)

Never underestimate the power of a: spelling test   (wow)

A picture is worth: one cent   (hmm)

It's not over until: three o'clock   (when school is out?)

Don't get caught between a rock: OK   (ha!)

Strike while the: baseball is coming   (baseball on the mind? she must be a Rasmussen)

Don't bite the hands that: are bad hands   (why not?)

You can't teach an old dog: math   (probably)

A penny saved is: one cent   (now that is true)

Two's company, three's: BFF   (her new favorite thing)

Don't put all your eggs: in your mouth   (yikes)

When the blind lead the blind: they crash   (most definitely)

Beauty is in: pain   (drop the "in")

The best things in life are: chucky cheese   (no surprise here!)
